摘要: Background: There is an increasing need for instrument, which allows to quickly and reliably assess the auditory behaviour of infants toddlers. Scientific question objective: The objective this study was develop validate "LittlEARS Hearing Questionnaire", a tool assessing in children up 24 months age. Methods: Questionnaire construction followed principles classical test theory. psychometric properties 45 questions on infant were examined sample 218 parents normal hearing age months. Parental responses also served computing normative values development early by regression analysis. Results: final questionnaire contains 35 items, be answered with either " yes" or no". sum ,,yes"-answers yields overall score, can compared age-related order appraise age-appropriateness infant's behaviour. following scale characteristics have been found above sample: internal consistency: Cronbach's Alpha=0.96; reliability: split-half r=0.88; predictive accuracy: Guttman's Lambda = 0.96; correlation between score children: r=0.91. Conclusion: ,,LittlEARS Questionnaire" suitable quick assessment little child's behaviour, e.g. at physical examinations, postnatal screening, when evaluating rehabilitative measures.
