摘要: Summary . This study aimed to analyze the effect of intervention with functional beverage made from banana and soybean on blood pressure urinary electrolytes’ concentrations in adult women prehypertension. Subjects this were 24 aged 25-59 years. They assigned into two groups, control group (n=10) that was given drinking water per day (n=13) 300 ml water. The results showed consumption over a 14-day period without controlling sodium intake had significant increasing potassium by 7.00 + 7.55 mmol/24 hours ( P <0.05), tended decrease calcium 4.55 37.50 mg/24 hours, lower systolic 4.77 10.87 mmHg diastolic 9.84 27.75 mmHg. In conclusion, using people prehypertension proven significantly increase concentrations, could prevent hypertension. Industrial relevance proved beverage, soybeans, natural pressure. is also useful as an alternative therapy for prehypertension, practical ready-to-drink product. Functional increasingly important nowadays because treatment synthetic drugs will cause drug dependence adverse negative effects. provides information manufacturers develop beverages, cheap affordable raw ingredients. Therefore, use can be avoided. Moreover, it safe hypertension long-term. Keywords. pressure; beverage; prehypertension; electrolytes
