摘要: Phytotoxins, secondary metabolites toxic to plants and produced by fungi, are believed play an important role in disease development targeting host cellular machineries and/or interfering with immune responses. The Ascochyta blight diseases on different legume caused related taxa, such as Phoma. causal agents of the often associated specific plants, showing a relatively narrow range. legume-associated Phoma known produce diverse array polyketide-derived metabolites, many which exhibited significant phytotoxicity have been claimed virulence or pathogenicity factors. In this article, we reviewed current state knowledge diversity biological activities phytotoxic compounds species. Also, touched metabolite biosynthesis gene clusters identified thus far discussed fungal biology.
