摘要: Ideas from speculative fiction have often become reality in decades past or may do so the near future although most been inspired ideas that originated science some form. The link between and technology is a close one, sometimes predictive not; but it inspiring all same. In this chapter we explore idea consider speculation really physicist’s way of thinking about boundaries science, where conventional wisdom break down new physics emerges, marked by paradigm shift technology. Government sponsored programs gone to exploring considering implications space propulsion. These are discussed along with how can best think technological extrapolation into – accepting changes established paradigms then our current development.
