摘要: Maintaining and increasing intrinsic motivation in multimedia learning environments is a challenge. When we fail to adequately address the issue of interest, learners either choose stop attending lesson or return for subsequent lessons. However, research provides guidance on how create designs that motivate capture interest. Designs use varying combinations animations, text, narration have been shown positively impact motivation. Although there are design principles provide guidance, remains question measure learner The current review literature examines possible application theory related situational interest proposes modified survey adapted from Situational Interest Survey evaluating effects learners.
