摘要: Abstract The oxidation of trimethoxymethane (TMM) (trimethyl orthoformate) in a direct PBI fuel cell was examined by on-line mass spectroscopy and FTIR spectroscopy. results show that TMM almost completely hydrolyzed which employs an acid doped polymer electrolyte to form mixture methylformate, methanol formic acid. It also found the presence water at 120°C even without acidic catalyst. anode performance improves sequence methanol, TMM, acid/methanol, methylformate solutions. Since is electrochemically more active than these suggest probably key factor for improvement using instead under conditions.
