Evaluation of neuropathy during intensive vincristine chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

摘要: Back ground Vincristine (VCR), is a chemotherapy drug, useful in the treatment of leukemia, lymphoma and solid tumor it potent neurotoxin sensory neuropathy drug which common behavioral toxicity this drug. Neuropathy squeal intensive protocols that contain vincristine corticosteroids. Materials methods This study was retrospective descriptive during program with for patients non-Hodgkin's (NHL) Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Data analyzed by spss Version16 software. Results From total 51 cases, 23 had (45%). Patients visceral have shown ileus, constipation 13 (25%), occasionally severe diarrhea 11 (21%), mild 7 (13.7%) transient 16 (31%). Motor were found one patient Bell, s palsy (1.9%) Hoarseness. 12 (23.5%) some type complication together peripheral neuropathy. Conclusion Almost half vincristin mean age 12.3 years.
