MedCloud: Healthcare cloud computing system

摘要: Existing systems for patients' data storage are not scalable enough the increasing number of patients and applications. Cloud computing promises low cost, high scalability, availability disaster recoverability which can be a natural solution some problems faced in storing analysing medical records. This paper examines impact cloud on improving healthcare services. More specifically, this research details architectural design personal health record system called “MedCloud” that utilizes integrates services from Hadoop's[1] ecosystem conjunction with HIPAA privacy security rules[2]. A platform is proposed developers to use application development Restlet[3], web portal, presented users, access MedCloud system. Later on, model illustrated through issues analysis followed by an in-depth performance evaluation.
