Synthesis, photocatalytic and antidiabetic properties of ZnO/PVA nanoparticles.

摘要: A series of ZnO and ZnO/poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) catalysts were prepared using sol-gel method. An X-ray diffraction analysis confirmed the existence wurtzite phase, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) observation revealed formation spherical ZnO/PVA nanoparticles. The decomposition methylene blue (MB) methyl orange (MO) induced by synthesized pure nanoparticles was studied under ultraviolet-visible irradiation. Among evaluated, ZnO/5PVA most active in MB, whereas ZnO/7PVA catalyst MO. Moreover, an investigation biological activity indicated that exhibited best performance lowering glucose level diabetic rats.
