摘要: In this paper, we outline the embodied perspective of language comprehension indicating some its limitations. We claim that t he notions as a tool (CLARK 2006a, 2006b), might be useful to overcome view f ocused only on referential aspects language. Words, in quality tools, can: a. facil itate communication among speakers; b. influence categorization; c. have different impac concrete and abstract words; d. allow us construct an inner speech. Finally, discus s how thinking about can help inform future research thought, d body.
