摘要: Half-band FIR digital filters are known to be important due their reduced computational requirements. They especially valuable when used decimate or interpolate by a factor of 2 [1], where characteristics well match the filtering Computational savings can also achieved extending concept half-band Nth-band for use in decimation interpolation N. In this paper, it is shown that certain filter requirements, common and interpolation, an exists with passband stopband ripples only slightly larger than those optimal filter. It demonstrated designed using computer program McClellan, Parks, Rabiner [2]. useful program, which perhaps most widely available design program.
