摘要: Insertional mutagenesis in mice is a potent instrument for cancer gene discovery. Until recently, retroviruses were the main experimental tools this field and application of insertional was limited to tissues which these agents have tropism, namely hemopoietic cells mammary epithelium. However, has been revolutionized greatly expanded with recent reanimation transposons, highly flexible group mutagens first discovered maize, now adapted use mammalian cells. Transposons do not only extend any tissue choice, but also allow more extensive unbiased coverage genome, can be designed selectively activate or inactivate genes, are amenable temporal spatial control. This chapter gives an overview design transposons discovery mice.
