摘要: Abstract This paper presents finite-element simulation to calculate electric-field distribution inside coaxial gas-insulated switchgear and lines (GIS GIL) for different solid spacer configurations, namely, disc, conical post spacers. Several troubles systems’ outages have been reported worldwide due insulation failures. Therefore, it is essential minimize the intensification along their surfaces, especially at triple point “electrode-spacer-gas”, hence enhance reliability increase lifetime. Finite-element-based OPERA-2D software was used by studying effects of dimensions relative permittivity, application functionally graded material (FGM) use spacers with metalized cavities shields.
