摘要: Research has shown that people select securely attached individuals as their first choice when asked to choose among secure or insecure partner prototypes. Despite this pattern, not everyone chooses a in real life. The goal of the reported studies was examine factors lead mates. Specifically, roles flattery, appearance, and status were assessed. In study, we found flattery increased attraction partners. Study 2 showed men preferred physical beauty over security. 3, anxious women attracted high-status men. These findings help explain why may sometimes end up with partners despite professed preference for companions.
