摘要: Ethnopharmacological relevance: Corydalis dubia is used in Bhutanese traditional medicine as a febrifuge and for treating infections the blood, liver bile which correlate to signs symptoms of malarial microbial infections. Aim study: To validate ethnopharmacological uses plant discover potential new therapeutic drug leads. Materials methods: C. was collected from Bhutan alkaloids were obtained using acid-base fractionation separation by repeated column preparative plate chromatography. The identified analysis their physiochemical spectroscopic data tested antiplasmodial, antimicrobial cytotoxicity activities. Results: A systematic extraction isolation protocol yielded one natural product, dubiamine, seven known isoquinoline alkaloids, scoulerine, cheilanthifoline, protopine, capnoidine, bicuculline, corydecumbine hydrastine. Among four tested, scoulerine showed best antiplasmodial activity with IC50 values 5.4 Antimalarial μM 3.1 against antifolate sensitive multidrug resistant P. falciparum strains: TM4/8.2 K1CB1, respectively. None significant or Conclusions: test results, isolated alkaloid components, are commensurated this plant.
