摘要: A wide range of polymers, obtained by crystallization from either the melt or solution state, are now known to form lamellar crystals. After initial identification single crystals in polyethylene crystallized dilute (e.g. reference 1), it was recognized that accommodate a particular molecule within crystal required should fold back on itself and re-enter crystal. Since then, nature ‘fold surface’ has continually been subject research, conjecture debate. Controversy prolonged lack experimental techniques capable providing direct information. At same time, central importance this feature, with its relevance mechanisms, morphology physical properties never doubted. This chapter is concerned technique developed over recent years provide detailed information chain conformation case polyethylene.
