摘要: When a surface is numerically modeled with wire grid, results are sensitive to the diameter. It shown that best accuracy obtained when satisfies "same area" rule of thumb, for canonical problem scattering (or radiation) from an infinite circular cylinder. important note wires too thick just as bad thin. also boundary value match between not reliable check on validity farfield results. Finally, data given effect spacing. Results exact solutions both true and grid model, thus isolating effects modeling per se.
