摘要: Abstract Coastal protected areas and historical heritage sites in Bulgaria are established by national policy instruments/laws EU Directives to protect a wide range of natural cultural resources. This paper demonstrated the development detailed inventory based on GIS tools which is able document variety along North Bulgarian Black Sea coast with landward extended zone 2100 m width. The strip area 182.6 km2 circa 67% has different protection status both for heritage. Analysis concerned compliance IUCN categorisation coastal degree spatial overlapping complementarities between nationally designated Natura 2000 areas. greatest human related challenges were considered sites, i.e. impact tourism, management conservation issues perspectives future (ecotourism). Results help providing key value proper visitation management, managers areas, tourism operators, developers visitors on, leading towards goal environmental, social economic sustainability.
