摘要: The aim of this study was to investigate age and gender effects children’s adolescents’ coping with common stressors in 3 groups (late childhood, early, middle adolescence). Furthermore, developmental differences situation-specific 2 stress domains were examined. N = 1,123 participants (ages 8 13 years) asked complete the German Coping Questionnaire for Children Adolescents (Hampel et al., 2001) response both an interpersonal academic stressor. Adolescent boys girls, as well girls from all ranges scored lower on adaptive higher maladaptive strategies. With regard interaction effects, female early adolescents coped maladaptively stressors, showing a decreased employment (e.g., distraction, positive self-instructions) enhanced use strategies rumination, aggression). Situation-specific did not differ consistently gender. Implications findings mental health care developing clinical treatment children are discussed.
