Sleep characteristics in healthy children from birth to 6 years of age in the urban area of Rome

摘要: The current survey is an attempt to evaluate age-specific sleep characteristics and identify the presence of problems in Italian normally developing preschool-aged children. A cross-sectional by parental interview on behavior was carried out 2,889 children (from birth 6 years). Groups were formed based age level. Results showed a developmental trend some characteristics, regarding mainly length rating night wakings. Comparison with other studies that this study had later onset time slept less than same living countries. These dissimilarities may be due sociocultural climate differences. Sleep (sleep latency longer 30 minutes or disruptive wakings) found 35% 2 years old, 23% 2-3-year-olds 14% 4-6-year-olds. Children significantly (on average 30-40 across all levels, required at shared their parents' bed more frequently those without sleeping problems.
