摘要: It is desirable to use more objective methods than visual scoring for the assessment of skin irritancy reactions. In present study blood flow in sites exposed sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) was recorded by a laser Doppler flowmeter. The irritant applied volar forearm healthy volunteers concentrations ranging from 0.001% 5% under occlusion 24 h. test were scored visually and at 3 different times: 26 h, 48 h 72 after application SLS. Approximately 950 recordings performed clear relationship observed between doses SLS, values corresponding scores. few cases deviation general trend observed, implying that naked eye might be unreliable
