摘要: Source separation, composting and anaerobic digestion, with associated land application, are increasingly being considered as alternative waste management strategies to landfilling incineration of municipal solid (MSW). Environmental life cycle assessments a useful tool in political decision-making about strategies. However, due the diversity processed organic MSW situations which it can be applied, environmental impacts application very hard determine by experimental means. In current study, we used agroecosystem model Daisy simulate range different scenarios representing geographical areas, farm soil types under Danish conditions legislation. Generally, resulted increased emissions compared corresponding standard scenarios, but large differences between scenarios. Emission coefficients for nitrogen leaching groundwater ranged from 0.03 0.87, while those lost surface waters through tile drains 0 0.30. Emission N2O formation 0.013 0.022 ammonia volatilization 0.016 0.11. These estimates within reasonable observed values similar conditions. Furthermore, sensitivity analysis showed that were not sensitive mineralization dynamics MSW. The results show models powerful tools estimate Despite this, have only been limited degree this purpose.
