Large-scale microscopic simulation of taxi services. Berlin and Barcelona case studies

摘要: The paper presents research on large-scale microscopic simulation of taxi services in Berlin and Barcelona based floating car data collected by local fleets. Firstly, Berlin’s Barcelona’s markets are shortly described the demand supply obtained from FCD analysed. Secondly, online dispatching problem formulation for this specific case is given, followed definition two real-time rule-based heuristics used to dispatch taxis dynamically within simulation. Finally, setup MATSim described, results with both analysed compared terms performance, proving effectiveness second strategy at different scales. This an extended version Maciejewski Bischoff 2015, where only study was presented.
