Pyridine-substituted calix[4]pyrrole: a new cation receptor

摘要: Novel pyridine-substituted calix[4]pyrrole (CP), has been synthesised and characterised by different analytical techniques (1H NMR, microanalysis mass spectroscopy). The cation-binding behaviour of this receptor was investigated proton NMR spectroscopy, conductometric UV titrations. 1H measurements reveal the sites interaction ligand with metal cations in deuterated acetonitrile (CD3CN). results show that introduction one pyridine group to pendent arm modified CP enables produced hybrid bind [Cd(II), Pb(II), Hg(II)] acetonitrile. No observed between other composition anion complexes established through conductance measurements. In all cases, 1:1 are formed. thermodynamics complexation is discussed.
