摘要: Fast-scan cyclic voltammetry (FSCV) is an electrochemical technique that permits the in vivo measurement of extracellular fluctuations multiple chemical species. The frequently utilized to sample sub-second (phasic) concentration changes neurotransmitter dopamine awake and behaving rats. Phasic signaling implicated reinforcement, goal-directed behavior, locomotion, FSCV has been used investigate how rapid striatal contribute these other behaviors. This unit describes instrumentation construction, implantation, use components required analyze rats with FSCV.
