摘要: Purpose To use anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) to compare corneal stroma demarcation line depth after collagen crosslinking (CXL) with 2 treatment protocols. Setting Vardinoyiannion Eye Institute of Crete, Faculty Medicine, University Heraklion, Greece. Design Prospective comparative interventional case series. Methods Corneal was performed in all eyes using the same ultraviolet-A (UVA) irradiation device (CCL-365). Eyes were treated for 30 minutes 3 mW/cm according standard Dresden protocol (Group 1) or 10 minutes 9 mW/cm UVA intensity 2). One month postoperatively, independent observers measured AS-OCT. Results Sixteen patients (21 eyes) enrolled. Group 1 comprised 7 (9 and 2, 9 (12 eyes). The mean 350.78 μm ± 49.34 (SD) (range 256.5 410 μm) 288.46 ± 42.37 μm 238.5 353.5 μm) 2; statistically significantly deeper than ( P =.0058, t test unpaired data). Conclusion a 30-minute CXL 10-minute procedure high-intensity irradiation. Financial Disclosure No author has financial proprietary interest any material method mentioned.
