New Perspectives in the Adaptive Assessment of Depression: The ATS-PD Version of the QuEDS.

摘要: Measurement is a crucial issue in psychological assessment. In this paper contribution to task provided by means of the implementation an adaptive algorithm for assessment depression. More specifically, Adaptive Testing System Psychological Disorders (ATS-PD) version Qualitative and Quantitative Evaluation Depressive Symptomatology questionnaire (QuEDS) introduced. Such refers theoretical background Formal Assessment (FPA) with respect both its deterministic probabilistic issues. Three models (one each sub-scale QuEDS) are fitted on sample 383 individuals. The estimates obtained then used calibrate procedure whose performance tested terms efficiency accuracy simulation study. Results indicate that ATS-PD QuEDS allows obtaining accurate description patient symptomatology, reducing number items asked 40%. Further developments discussed.
