摘要: A group of 166 patients with coeliac disease was followed for a period up to 25 years. During this time, 17 developed intestinal tumours that were diagnosed as lymphoma, which 15 cases available review. Eleven the lymphomas T-cell type (enteropathy-associated EATL) and two B-cell type. Two reclassified undifferentiated carcinoma. The interval between diagnosis enteropathy onset lymphoma varied from less than 2 months in four more 5 years seven. Seven both investigated presence Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) by situ hybridization (ISH) using probes against virus-encoded RNAs (EBERs) immunohistochemistry EBV-specific monoclonal antibodies. All EATL negative, suggesting EBV is not an important factor these cases. In one cases, detectable ISH most tumour cells mesenteric lymph nodes, but any primary ileal tumour, indicating case infection late event neoplastic process. These results show may develop time after our EATL, factor. some EBV-related neoplasia, be event.
