摘要: SUMMARY: A collection of 426 Haemophilus strains isolated from people with infectious diseases and the normal flora mucous membranes in humans various animal species was studied an attempt to revise improve taxonomy genus Haemophilus. The examinations included determination a number biochemical physiological properties, which several had not previously been applied haemophili. resulting data revealed many hitherto unrecognized characters taxonomic significance, can now be more accurately defined. classification presented is supported by DNA base composition large representative strains. diagnostic key different taxa presented. influenzae H. parainfluenzae have subdivided into biotypes. It possible demonstrate relationship between individual biotypes origin assigned them. results indicate that aegyptius, parahaemolyticus paraphrohaemolyticus do merit specific status. Four unnamed V-factor-dependent haemophili recognized. name segnis proposed for one these taxa, consists mainly human oral cavity. demonstrated ducreyi has used groups bacteria, only legitimately Haemolytic swine, parahaemolyticus, are significantly should named pleuropneumoniae. None swine fowls were haemindependent. relationships suis gallinarum, parasuis paragallinarum discussed. piscium shown belong position aphrophilus uncertain its Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans requires further study. positive correlation found ecology their affiliation
