摘要: Polycomb group (PcG) proteins are essential regulators of stem cells. PcG and trithorax mark developmental regulator gene promoters with bivalent domains consisting overlapping repressive activating histone modifications to keep them poised for activation in embryonic Bmi1, a component complexes, maintains the self-renewal capacity adult cells, but its role multipotency remains obscure. Here we show that Bmi1 is critical hematopoietic cells (HSCs) multipotent progenitors (MPPs). B cell lineage genes, Ebf1 Pax5, appeared be transcriptionally repressed by before commitment. Loss resulted resolution at Pax5 loci, leading their premature expression HSC/MPPs accompanied accelerated lymphoid specification marked reduction HSC/MPPs. Thus, required reinforce key loci maintain
