摘要: A novel visible light-driven heterojunction photocatalyst composed of graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) and bismuth oxychloride (BiOCl) was synthesized. The resulting g-C3N4/BiOCl composite characterised by X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflection spectroscopy. Under light irradiation, composites displayed a markedly higher photocatalytic activity than pure BiOCl in the degradation phenol p-chlorophenol. Among hybrid photocatalysts, with 50% mass ratio g-C3N4 exhibited highest for decolourisation phenol. Enhanced performance resulted from effective separation photogenerated electron–hole pairs because build-up between BiOCl.
