Experimental Investigation of the Zn-Al-Sb System at 450 °C

摘要: Phase diagram of the Zn-V-Sb ternary system has been studied experimentally by means scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy-dispersive spectrometric and x-ray diffraction. Twelve different tri-phase regions could be confirmed in this at 450 °C. Moreover, a new compound named VZnSb, whose composition range spanned from 30.4-32.4 at.% V, 30.5-34.0 Zn 34.7-37.1 Sb, is positively identified for first time, crystal structure VZnSb not resolved. The phase equilibrated V3Sb, SbZn, Sb2Zn3, Sb3Zn4 η-Zn. Experimental results indicated that solubility V Sb3Zn4, Sb2Zn3 α-Sb very limited. On other hand, maximum VSb2, VSb V3Sb up to 1.8, 9.1 3.7 at.%, respectively. Sb VZn3 0.4 η-Zn dissolves 1.3 2.0 Sb.
