Dependence on Kinds of Impurity Gases in Metals of Negative Pressures in Water/Metal Berthelot Tube Systems

摘要: With an all-stainless-steel Berthelot tube having a cavitation-free range up to ca. -10 MPa, trends in negative pressure with repeated cavitation water were investigated, I) when pre-degassed singlecrystalline copper pieces additionally exposed either hydrogen gas or nitrogen and then co-sealed together de-aerated the tube, respectively, II) its stainless steel plugs super-critical just before their sealing uses. These additional pretreatments for metals deteriorated tube. All found qualitatively consistent we admit earlier dominated by concentration later other kinds of impurity concentrations metals.
