摘要: The influence of the combined effects substrate-induced strain, finite size and electron irradiation-induced defects have been studied on individual micron-sized domains organic charge transfer compound tetrathiafulvalene-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TTF-TCNQ) by temperature-dependent conductivity current-voltage measurements. isolated focused ion beam etching electrically contacted induced deposition metallic contacts. follows a variable range hopping behavior which shows crossover exponent as Peierls transition is approached. low temperature analyzed within segmented rod model Fogler, Teber Shklowskii, originally developed for charge-ordered quasi one-dimensional crystal. results are compared with data obtained as-grown irradiated epitaxial TTF-TCNQ thin films two-domain type.
