摘要: This paper examines individual, social, and structural factors associated with depression among 728 people who inject drugs (PWID) their intimate partners in Kazakhstan, separate multivariate models by gender. Depression scores were higher on average participants of both genders recently experienced sexual partner violence, food insecurity, had lower levels self-rated health. Among females, experiencing childhood abuse, social support, not having children. Findings highlight a need to incorporate gender differences designing mental health services for PWID Kazakhstan.
