摘要: Although the facilitative effects of instructional analogies have been well-documented, research has ignored their potential role in formation domain-specific misconceptions. A model for predicting likelihood analogical misrepresentation is presented. The assumes that two factors interact to influence misrepresentation: locus generation (learner-generated or teacher-generated) and component process (selection mapping). reviewed provides support model's predictions (a) selection difficulties increase under learner-generated conditions, (b) mapping teacher-generated conditions. Application findings with proportional problem-solving a systematic investigation elaborative recommended.
