摘要: To understand security vulnerabilities of communication protocols used in power systems, a real-time framework can be developed to conduct vulnerability studies. The should implement protection mechanisms against and study their effectiveness. In this paper, realtime cyber-physical or test bed is presented. It integrates system simulator the cyber physical smart grids. simulation implemented using Real-Time Digital Simulator (RTDS®) grid simulator, with LabVIEW PXI modules that simulate supervisory control data acquisition (SCADA) intelligent electronic devices (IEDs). Opnet’s System-in-the-Loop (SITL) open source Linux tools servers. Results two cyber-attacks on Modbus/TCP protocol are discussed improvements for attack detection mitigation proposed.
