摘要: Barley is attacked by a number of serious fungal pathogens that constantly challenge not only yield quantity but also grain quality. Some these organisms are members phylogenetic clades infecting other cereals; others unique to barley at least in terms causing agronomically relevant disease. As consequence breeders find themselves constant battle enhance durable resistance or introduce new genes from donors belonging the first second gene pool. However, be successful this respect will require good understanding genomic loci, and pathways involved ideally race-nonspecific crop. This review provides summary current knowledge interacting with seven major might thus useful for molecular plant pathologists potentially attractive approaches knowledge-based pre-breeding broadly acting resistance.
