摘要: Combinations of carboxylic solubilizers, made by reaction an acylating agent with N-(hydroxyl-substituted hydrocarbyl) amine and surfactants are useful in incorporating oil-soluble, water-insoluble functional additives into aqueous systems. Typical solubilizers reacting alkyl-substituted succinic anhydride containing about 12 to 500 carbon atoms alkanol such as diethyl ethanol amine. nonionic hydrophilic ethoxylated phenols ionic both the anionic cationic type. anti-wear, extreme pressure load-carrying agents dithiophosphates. The systems formed aid combinations useful, for example, water-based hydraulic fluids.
