摘要: The effect of the oral administration 0.150 mg/m2 clonidine on plasma level human growth hormone (hGH) was studied in 53 adults (25 males and 28 females) aged from to 68 years, which 15 were healthy volunteers 38 hypertensive. Both normal hypertensive subjects both sexes showed an age-related responsiveness hGH clonidine, with a or partial response younger blunting lack more elderly subjects. In females appeared at earlier age than males. It is speculated that alteration sensitivity central alpha-adrenergic receptors decrease sex steroid hormones may account for progressive reduction secretion advancing age.
