摘要: Abstract An experimental study was conducted on a 19.05 mm (outer diameter) dimpled enhanced tube to evaluate the in-tube two phase heat transfer and pressure drop performance in an annular section created between solid round PVC rod. The purpose of understand effect forced early transition flow coefficient horizontal tube. refrigerant studied R-134a at saturation temperature 5 °C, flux range 2.5 15 kW m−2, mass from 80 200 kg m−2 s−1 inlet vapor quality 0.12 0.72. Flow pattern results were obtained under adiabatic conditions. Under similar operating conditions with rod exhibited three times higher versus same size smooth empty lower penalty mas flux.
