摘要: ABSTRACT Warfarin, a coumarin rodenticide, is commonly used worldwide for rodent control, and often reported as the cause poisoning accidents in nontarget animals, particular bird species. However, metabolism of warfarin birds still unclear. In previous study, we found an unknown metabolite chicken cytosolic fractions. present aimed to clarify metabolites chickens compared with those rats. The cytosol fractions both rat livers showed metabolic activity 2 diastereomers enantiomers alcohol. cytosol, that production level (S)-warfarin-(S)-alcohol was markedly higher (32-fold) than cytosol. From results inhibition assay, finally suggest aldehyde oxidase may mainly contribute alcohol products
