摘要: Abstract Protein X-ray crystallography has revealed the structures of active sites several molybdenum- and tungsten-containing enzymes that catalyze formal hydroxylation oxygen atom transfer reactions. Each molybdenum (or tungsten) is coordinated by one two) ene-dithiolate groups a novel pterin (molybdopterin), are further differentiated from another number acid residues. These active-site have no precedent in coordination chemistry tungsten.
