摘要: A new blood-fluke, Cruoricola lates n. g., sp., is described from sea-bass Lates calcarifer cultured in Malaysia. It also found Thailand and Australia. All fish examined over 15 cm length were infected the type-locality. This sanguinicolid differentiated other genera by: spherical seminal vesicle; large, single testis extending beyond intestinal caeca; medial, bi-lobed ovary; column of sub-marginal, laterally directed, evenly spaced spines. has separate genital pores which are close together. Adults predominantly mesenteric venules venous circulation. Juveniles commonest caudal kidney.
