摘要: Abstract A novel nonlinear organic optical material Benzimidazolium Trichloroacetate Monohydrate (BTCAM) crystal was successfully grown by a conventional solution growth method at room temperature. Molecular structure and system were analyzed single X-ray diffraction study. Chemical components, functional groups their structural vibrations elucidated Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Raman (FT-Raman) analysis. Optical absorbance spectrum provides information about the transparency band gap energy (4.45 eV). The Z-scan technique using pulsed Nd:YAG laser of wavelength 532 nm with power 42 mW employed to understand third order nonlinearity. values refractive index (n2) susceptibility (χ(3)) found be 4.83 × 10−8 cm2/W 3.60 × 10−6 esu respectively. damage threshold (LDT) value 1.34 GW/cm2. tested Thermogravimetry/derivative Thermogravimetry (TG-DTG) studies decomposition thermal stability behaviour. effect charge distribution contribution various polarization mechanisms explored dielectric
