摘要: Abstract A thorough rock- and palaeomagnetic investigation of an almost 13-m-thick Upper Pleistocene loess–palaeosol sequence (LPSS) outcropping near the village Suttő in northern Hungary was conducted to obtain rock magnetic palaeomagnetic-based chronostratigraphies. The results our investigations indicate that classical “Chinese” model enhancement, showing increasing concentration-dependent parameters course pedogenesis, is also valid for Carpathian Basin. We constructed a relative geomagnetic palaeointensity (RPI) record central part section by using natural remanent magnetisation (NRM) after demagnetisation alternating fields 15 mT employing anhysteretic (ARM), low-field susceptibility ( K lf ) “saturation” (“S”IRM) as normalisers. three obtained RPI data sets show identical trends are therefore regarded reliable recorders Earth's field. allows indirect dating LPSS at correlation with GLOPIS PISO stack. derived age agreement OSL-based chronostratigraphy, but contradicts chronology based on between marine isotope stratigraphy (MIS), which gives rise hypothesis possible decoupling palaeoclimate Basin realm during early MIS 3.
