摘要: This paper reviews recent case studies completed on mass movements (and landslide dams) with probable (post-) seismic origin or susceptible to failure in the Tien Shan, Central Asia. Geophysical investigations and seismological microseismic surveys presented here were carried out Kainama earthflow Southern Kyrgyz loess landslides Tajikistan as well unstable slopes a dam Shan. The latter summer 2011 using electrical tomography combined refraction measurements earthquake recordings. For all sites complex 3D models built (with GOCAD software). some 2D numerical modelling of slope stability allowed us make accurate assessment their susceptibility failure. Modelling amplification potential various confirmed results obtained from surveys: strongest amplifications generally affect upper parts close crest mountains—not only due topographic effects but also presence weaker rocks thicker soft deposits these areas. dynamic further show that combination hydrologic factors (pore pressure build-up during shaking post-seismic rise groundwater level) was necessary trigger
