摘要: Polymer–surfactant interactions in solutions are important wide range of applications. The lead to the formation various polymer–surfactant structures. solution viscosity is dependent on structure. Here we have studied dependence and structure composition mixture. We used non-ionic polymer polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) negatively charged surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). PVP behaves as a polyelectrolyte pure water at pH 7.4. It interacts with SDS through hydrophobic interaction. This leads saturation point (PSP). positively 2.4. neutralizes opposite charge polymer. After neutralization PVP, excess From data neutralization, calculated. PSP concentrations, calculated number molecules per molecule. PVP–SDS complexes observed by using transmission electron microscope room temperature. explained from Copyright © 2010 Curtin University Technology John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
