摘要: A prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), in particular steatohepatitis (NASH), said comprising a concentrate of Japanese plum (Prunus mume) juice or processed product thereof. The agent, which is obtained with the use ingredients contained plant thereof, has high safety and can be easily taken. It was confirmed that hepatic fibrosis ameliorated by orally administering thereof to streptozocin (STZ)-induced NAFLD model mice STZ-induced NASH mice.
