摘要: A fast waveform sampling facility has been recently developed and integrated into the VAX-based data acquisition system at Center for Applied Physical Sciences (CAPS). This study uses above in developing algorithms digitally determining basic pulse parameters tackling problem of pile-up Gamma-ray spectroscopy. number parameter estimation digital online peak localisation are being developed, including a classification technique which simple search routine based on smoothed first derivative method, gave percentage error amplitude less than 1%. The classfication unique feature cutting down computation largely by only allowing event interest to be executed particular algorithm. set-up was also tested with random signals from (137) CS test source. Gamma pulses 3' Na(TI) scintillation detector were captured as single double puipose testing detection algorithms. successfully TMS320C6000 high performance floating-point processoryielding reduction ofthe execution time 2 msec.
